I’m an undergraduate student studying Molecular & Cell Biology: Neurobiology (B.A.) and Psychology (B.A.)! One of my favorite concepts in neuroscience is neuroplasticity, specifically in the context of conditions such as traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and neurodegenerative disease. In the lab, I work on studies with cerebellar degeneration patients to understand the neural basis of motor control (i.e. coordination) and how it relates to Parkinson’s Disease. In my free time, I love watching medical & true crime docuseries and enjoy water sports like kayaking; in the future I hope to pursue a career in the healthcare field.
