My main research interest is on the brain mechanisms involved in action choice and selection. Using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) I focus on defining the constraints of the inhibitory processes involved. What happens in your brain when you move the hand instead of the foot?
I am also interested in improving motor learning and language learning, using transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) to induce changes in cortical excitability. How much better could you learn if we stimulate your brain?
